Catch up with Republic of Work

We kicked started 2022 by making our new years resolution - get the Republic of Work blog back up and running! So here's a public forum, where all you readers (let us know if you are reading this by the way), can keep us accountable.

Let’s get straight into things, January was a busy month here at ROW. We had a few new starters (Nnenna & Colin in Marketing, you may have already seen them around the place), and we also welcomed back our lovely members into a newly renovated office. We think it’s pretty slick in here now, although we could be a tiny bit biased!

We have lots to look forward to this year regarding our programmes. Teamwork Catalyst, our in house SaaS incubator for early stage startups, is in full swing. The incubator is housed here in ROW and members benefit from everything our community has to offer. This includes desk space, WiFi and coffee - completely free. Keep an eye out for our next cohort opening! We also have the NDRC programme. NDRC is the national startup accelerator programme for globally ambitious tech entrepreneurs in Ireland. It’s back this year and will be exciting as ever!

In a delightful turn of events, January also brought with it a huge lifting of the government COVID-19 restrictions, something a lot of us have really been looking forward to. We are delighted that we can now get more of you into our building, and we can continue to grow our community together.

One last but important update! We have well and truly jumped on the 4-Day working week bandwagon, and the team is loving it so far! We trialed it throughout January, and looks like we’ll be keeping it that way for the foreseeable. A shorter working week can help support us to take better care of our health, and can have a positive impact on the environment by reducing carbon created by commuting! We call that a win-win all round.

That's it from us for now, but as always, if you haven't been in to meet us yet, come book a tour and see what all the fuss is about!
