How to Build Highly Effective & Innovative Teams

Perry of Team Challenge Process gave us his advice on building world class teams during his Lunch & Learn. He discussed the qualities necessary for good teamwork and gave relevant examples from his time at General Motors spent building and designing team dynamics for the highest possible level of efficiency.

To delve deeper into some of the points Perry made, you can watch the recording here. A team is only as armstrong as its weakest link. Perry highlighted the importance of lifting up team members who are having difficulty. Not only does this strengthen the team but it also builds vital social bonds which helps people overcome differences and rise to a challenge.

Perry also suggested the tactic of approaching problems that need to be solved as challenges to make them seem less insurmountable and more satisfying to achieve.

The last in the 4 part Lunch & Learn series with Perry will be taking part on November 24th. Keep an eye out for tickets on the, ‘What’s On,’ page of the ROW website.
