First Fridays @ ROW - The Inside Scoop
Have you heard about First Fridays for Startups before now? Yes, no, maybe? Well, whether you have or not, in this blog we’ll be going into why it's the next big thing you need to be a part of. First Fridays is going to be broadcast live from RoW on June 3rd, so we wanted to make sure our community knew all about it!
First Fridays for Startups is Ireland’s largest monthly startup ecosystem event, managed by Dogpatch Labs and delivered all across Ireland by the Irish Tech Hub Network. Every month, First Fridays will be broadcast online from one of the member hubs across the country.
So, what happens on the day? Across four separate sessions, you’ll be taken through one amazing learning experience. A breakdown of the day is as follows:
Welcome | 9am - 9.45am
This early morning session gives you the inside track on who’s who and what’s happening across Ireland’s startup ecosystem. This month, you can join our Customer Success superstar, Sarah Livesey and Jake from Dogpatch Labs, who will go over everything going on in the local ecosystem across Cork and the South of Ireland.
Mentoring | 10am - 12pm
This is your chance to learn from the best and brightest. Gain access to over 1,000+ experts who have deep industry, investment, or entrepreneurial experience. Mentoring gives you the opportunity to connect with some of the world’s largest tech companies, seasoned founders, and experts. Educate | 12.15pm - 1pm
Join best-in-class knowledge holders for a deep dive panel discussion to help you upskill or reach your next milestone. For the Republic of Work June edition we’re talking about Building Product! There’s no point in building a startup unless a great product is at the heart of it. We’ll be having a conversation with three people who have individually been responsible for the building of over a dozen of Ireland’s greatest products. From engineering, design, usability to getting customer feedback, if you’re building a business, you won’t want to miss this!
Inspire | 1.15pm - 2pm
The keynote ‘inspire’ talk gives you the chance to learn from seasoned startup founders that have "been there, done that". For the month of June, it's going to be a double act—we’ll be joined by the co-founders of one of Ireland’s hottest startups in decades, Workvivo, John Goulding and Joe Lennon. Workvivo has become a global leader in developing and delivering employee engagement solutions, working with some of the biggest brands and Fortune 500’s across all sectors.
