We’ve been on South Mall since the very beginning. It’s a hub for Cork businesses, and we have to say, we really love it. Our members benefit from the use of three floors spanning over 15,500 square feet right in the heart of Cork City. We’re only a short stroll from tasty coffee shops (The Bookshelf, Filter, Badger & Dodo), scrumptious lunch spots (Orso, Twenty Sandwich Bar, and Nash 19), and trendy bars (Electric, Crawford, and Arthur Maynes) to name a few. With parking and bus routes just nearby, it’s pretty much the ideal location.

Our community is so important to us and is one of the main pillars of our whole operation. We know flexibility is super important, so that's why all of our memberships are on a month-to-month rolling basis. No long-term contracts here! Although we are primarily a space where you can get your best work done, we also know how important it is to have some down time too. We love to have fun here in RoW, and no matter what day it is, you’ll find one of the team plotting the next big event. We are best known for throwing week-long birthday parties every year for our RoW-anniversary. Our members have dedicated nights every month, where they can all meet up and find out the latest over a fun activity. Work-life balance in all its glory!
Feel inspired
We have so many different types of people doing amazing things coming through our doors every day. Be that a single-person business or full-scale teams, everyone is doing something interesting. Republic of Work is a really special place where you never quite know who you’ll end up sitting beside at the coffee dock.
We also run various programmes in conjunction with the NDRC and our fellow Irish Tech Hub Network members. We have our very own internal program too, Teamwork Catalyst, which is an incubator for early-stage SaaS startups. The Future of Work
The way we work is changing rapidly. There is no denying it. Since the pandemic hit and we were all forced into our homes, there just hasn't been the jump back to the traditional office some people would have expected. As we are now more or less back to normal, many companies want people back in the office as it was in 2019-but many more are releasing this just isn't what the people want. Having a choice in where you can work is a new benefit that will be top of mind for job hunters in the future.
